In order to help ensure K9 remains an active role in law enforcement for the future, we believe it is important to not only train handlers and k9 teams, but also train and educate the community on the benefits and needs of the k9 unit.
Training K9 Units
The skills of a k9 unit require continual, mandated training. With limited financial resources, many agencies often overlook the training of their k9 units in efforts to train their other officers. We offer training to k9 teams free of charge to them and their agency. With contributions like yours, we are able to offer scholarships for k9 teams to attend seminars, workshops, trainings, and conferences all across the country. Your donations help us host training seminars geared towards the needs of the k9 units. We firmly believe that the when these units receive the best training, they can only perform at a better level.
Educating Our Communities
We believe it is important to show the benefits of what a k9 unit can bring to their communities. These teams can have a far reaching effect that many people take for granted. It falls on us to reach out to businesses and members of the community to help them not only understand what the role of a k9 unit is, but also show them how they can play a major role in providing for these teams and ultimately impacting their own communities for good.
