We are committed to providing for the needs of active duty k9s as well as the needs of those k9s that have retired.
ACTIVE K9S
Ensuring that our K9 teams are equipped to handle whatever challenges they may face is important to our foundation. As handlers, we personally know what it is like to go without something for lack of funding. We want to ensure that all k9 teams have everything they need such as tracking harnesses, leashes, collars, water bowls, crates, Rex Specs, and so much more. These items may seem small, but they allow the team to do their job effectively and safely.
RETIRED K9S
Did you know that once a k9 retires, most handlers are responsible for the care of the k9, many times as the handler selects a new partner to continue to work with on a K9 unit? Many of these retired K9s require extensive physical therapy and sometimes emergency medical procedures that normally accompany a dog as it ages. Often times, these k9s and the families that take care of them are forgotten. We believe these dogs should be living their best lives after giving their best for their handlers and their communities. We aim to cover medical expenses associated with surgeries or therapy, as well as provide food and treats for these heroes.
